As part of the concert “Crystals” by flutist and performer Francesco Marzano, the mæro ensemble performed an audiovisual concert in which video recordings of melting and forming crystals served as a graphic score. Melting ice on stage, recorded live with a hydrophone, was incorporated into the performance together with an improvisation by the ensemble. A confluence and fusion of tones, sounds and voices.
